How to decrypt

To read the e-mail, you need to know if you have the Talkey application installed or not.

I don’t have the Talkey application installed
  • In the e-mail you received you have a link that redirects you to a webmessage browser
  • Reading a decrypting webmessage: to read a message  you need to enter the password from the SMS that was sent to your phone number

I have the Talkey application installed on my PC / mobile phone and I can log in to it
  • decrypt the email by clicking on the green lock icon ‘Email is encrypted’ in Talkey (Microsoft Outlook only)
  • decrypt the e-mail by opening the attachment (Talkey.mtm)

What should I do if I don’t meet any of the above options?

For security reasons, we do not know your password and do not store it anywhere. In case of loss or forgetting, we are unable to recover the password. That’s why you must revoke the key, create a new one, and resubmit the encrypted e-mail.

I never installed the Talkey application and I don’t have an SMS password
  • In the e-mail you received you have a link that redirects you to a webmessage browser: click on “this link” and on the website select Did you forget the password?” next follow the instructions
In the past, I had the Talkey application installed but forgot the password or deleted the application
  • Reinstall the current version of the application, click here, launch the application and follow the instructions
